ImageUna singolare Via Crucis si e’ svolta giovedi’ 20 marzo nell’ospedale di Wamba,diocesi di Maralal. La via Crucis e’ stata guidata da Padre Lino Gallina della Missione di Wamba. I testi che acompagnavano le varie stazioni sono stati appositamente studiati per i medici, le infermiere e il personale dell’ospedale richiamando la loro attenzione sui rapporti con i pazienti e sullo spirito di carita’ che deve ispirare i gesti e gli atteggiamenti di chi si prende cura dei malati vedendo in loro un’immagine del Cristo sofferente. Il percorso della Via Crucis, partito dalla Physiotherapy ,si e’ snodato lungo i differenti reparti con preghiere, canti, e riflessioni personali dei singoli partecipanti.

Jesus is condemned to death

I wash my hands as Pilate when I don’t do my duty for the patients, or leave things for the other colleagues to do it. I condemned the patient to suffer as Pilate condemned Jesus to death.

Jesus accepts the cross

As you accept your cross, I accept mine. Let us nurses and doctors helps the patients to accept their pain and suffering with our care and love.

Jesus is nailed to the cross

I pierced your hands and feet when I fail to give the treatment to every patient or to record it.

Thank you, Jesus for giving us your mother and help us to be a good daughter and sons.

My dying Jesus, you laid down your life for us, so that we may be reconciled to the Father. Let us be worthy of your sacrifice. I place my trust in your promise to the repentant thief.

My sorrowing Jesus, in the midst of your suffering you are concerned with the sorrows and sufferings of others. Help us to see the needs of those around us, teach us to be generous to those who need our help.

My lack of responsibility in my duties is the cause of your third fall. I promise to do my best everyday with love and dedication.

I behave as the soldiers when abandon the patient in dirty beds. Release me from my pride and make me a humble servant of every patient.

I increase the load of your cross and make you to fall under it when I don’t come in time for my work or when I waste my time being on duty.

I increase the sorrow of Mary mother of God when I act with indifference and negligence with the mothers in pain or with their children.

I want to be as Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus and take care for every patient who dies when I am on duty.

Make us realise that everything we do affect you. Every person in the street is you. Everyone we meet is you. Everyone suffering is you. Help us to love you.

POBRES Y POBREZA EN LA FORMACIÓN MISIONERA
Introducción

Se ha pedido una reflexión sobre cómo usar los bienes materiales durante el currículo formativo del Misionero de la Consolata. Tema actual en este momento histórico que estamos viviendo a nivel de sociedad y a nivel de Instituto. A nivel socio-económico nos encontramos en una sociedad post-moderna donde el consumismo arrasa no sólo las personas sino también las estructuras e vida de la Iglesia. A nivel de Instituto porque hoy nuestras comunidades son internacionales e interculturales con diferencias culturales en la apreciación de pobres y pobreza, de economía y hasta de estratos sociales bien diferenciados.
