Kenya: Tangaza graduation day Stampa E-mail
Scritto da Charles Okore, imc
ImageThe 10th of May, was a very busy day for Tangaza students with dual celebration; the diaconate ordination of four students of the Society of African Mission (S.M.A), and the graduation of several students of Christ the Teacher Institute for Education with Summas, magnas and cum laude probatus.

All Tangaza students were invited to the 12th graduation ceremony by Brother Louis De Thomasis, FSC, PhD, chancellor, Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota/U.S.A, the Board of Directors, administration, faculty of students of Christ the Teacher Institute for Education and Tangaza College Administration.

The graduation ceremony took place at Tangaza College which is headed by Rev. Fr. Tim Redmond, started with Eucharistic celebration at 9 AM.

Meanwhile, the diaconate ordination of the students of the society of the African Missions at St. Joseph’s Parish Jericho, Nairobi also went on with a lot of joy. The four included Henry Patrick Obiora, Mahougnon Bernadin Kinnoume, Dominic Anthuvan Philip and Osbert Idaka Egbe.

Becasuse of the solemn nature of the celebration, some reffered to it as a grand ordination in comparison to Kenyan government's grand coalition. "It was so great to receive blessings from your classmates", one of the Consolata Missionary students Joseph Mutinda said to me.

This celebration officiated by Rev. Bishop Patrick Harrington (S.M.A) of Lodwar Diocese, started at 10 AM. It was such a great joy to have the four new deacons. This was the catchword of the Day.
